Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver and General Growth Properties, the owner/management company for Southwest Plaza, participates in a national partnership to stamp out poverty housing in the Denver community. Southwest Plaza invites shoppers to participate in giving back with volunteer opportunities, fundraising events, and awareness campaigns. Other community minded projects include mall donations to Home Improvement Outlet which benefits the local Habitat for Humanity.
AMBER Alert is an initiative to help reunite missing children with their families. Southwest Plaza provides signage in high traffic areas during active AMBER alerts.
Mall services include wheelchair rentals, transportation assistance, gift card purchases, copy and fax services, and much more. Moms and Dads love the Preferred Family Parking service. This service provides designated parking spaces near mall entrances for convenient family transport. Public transportation is provided by RTD and stops just outside Chili’s near the mall.
