Outdoor World is a huge outdoor enthusiast center where you can find fishing gear, marine accessories, hunting equipment, and even boats and RV’s.  Campers, backpackers, and hunters can find gear and accessories to fulfill their every need.  This nearly five football big outdoor retailer will keep you entertained for hours if not days. 

Events and Entertainment

Entertainment venues include the Harkins Theatres 18, Improv Comedy Club and Dinner Theatre, and Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill to name a few. In addition to Bass Pro’s Outdoor World, Dick’s Sporting Goods Park is an 18,000 seat stadium surrounded by a 24 field professional soccer complex.  Located just north of the The Shops at Northfield Stapleton and right at the southwest corner of the Rocky Mountain Arsenal Wildlife Refuge the Park makes up about 917 acres in total.

Building Green

Constructed to the LEED standard, Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design, the center was awarded the Silver LEED certification by the Green Building Council.  One of the first large retail centers in the country to be built green, the center is also the first in class to enroll in the Xcel Design Assistance Program or XDAP.  Green spaces, pedestrian walkways, and fountains were incorporated enhancing the built green . 

Restaurants and Eateries

Guy Harvey, a renowned marine wildlife artist, scientist, diver, angler, conservationist, and explorer, opened a unique log cabin style restaurant where his fresh water fish paintings will be featured.  Guy Harvey’s Perfect Spot, as the restaurant has been named, has thirty HDTV’s where you can enjoy sports events and live entertainment weekly. 

Community

The Shops At Northfield Stapleton sponsors the Colorado Rapids Kicks for Kids program.  The program provides underserved youth tickets to Colorado Rapids home games, holiday parties and more.
